This class consists of a bit of drawing to set up for oils. Then a washin process is taught by scrumbling raw umber onto canvas and using a wipe-out technique to pull halftones and light. Colour mix theory on fleshtones for portraits and figures and a grey scale is taught. Paint is applied on top of washin to create a finished colour painting.
This wonderful watercolour class will be set up as a demo and do. You will be taught tricks and techniques passed down from the best in their field. It is not necessary to have a high level of skill in drawing for this class. You will do beautiful landscapes, learn colour mixing, timing and preparation. We will work with professional quality materials for the best results. Some materials required.
This fun and exciting class is taught by Lynn Rosenthal. It is an exploration in Colour And Technique in Acrylics. You will explore new possibilities in creative expression and learn a wide range of techniques that can help you utilize mediums, gels, inks & watercolour, pencil & crayons. Some materials required.
This class will teach you how to draw portraits from photographs using the Riley Technique. Charcoal and Newsprint will be needed along with an introduction into Pastel Pencils (optional). Animal portraits/figure drawing will also be introduced if so desired. You will be able to have one-on-one with our instructor and zoom in on the area which you would like to learn. You will see results after just an 8 week session.
This class teaches sculpture work with clay and the use of an armature. A complete piece takes 8 weeks to ready for mould and casting. Mold and casting will not be offered in this session but places to have this done will be recommended. Pieces can be up to three feet high and we will work from a live model. Some tools/supplies plus clay and an armature fee will be added at a discount through Lynrich Arts.
This class will teach the fundamentals of the cartooning process: how to develop your characters with emotion and expression and how to bring a character to life. Must have some drawing ability. Some supplies required.
In this class you will learn to develop characters and a script to produce your very own animated cartoon on video cassette. You will work on professional animation tables and scan your drawings into a computer and transfer it to video cassette. This is a great class to get a feel for the wonderful world of animation. Some supplies required.

Ages 8 - 17 This class will assist in getting a proper portfolio of pieces together for specialty school entrance in both Primary to Secondary Schools. As well as Secondary Schools to University and Job search. We offer consultation service and enhancement classes. Some materials required.
